LINIT® Profiled Glass – Durable, Eco-Friendly Cast Glass for Modern Façades

LINIT® Profiled Glass is a high-performance U-shaped cast glass designed for architects, builders, and developers who seek a combination of structural integrity, visual elegance, and sustainability. Manufactured using the world’s first oxygen-fired cast glass furnace, this environmentally conscious product delivers strength, versatility, and a distinctive optical character.

Sustainable and Precisely Engineered

Made from a refined mix of sand, lime, soda, and dolomite, LINIT® Profiled Glass is produced through a controlled casting process. While still in its plastic phase, the molten glass is shaped into a U-profile, then gradually cooled, hardened, and cut to the desired lengths.

This production method results in glass panels with an individual optical texture, allowing for façades that reflect and refract light in a lively, unique way. Unlike uniform float glass, each piece of LINIT® glass offers its own visual identity while meeting strict quality standards.

Long-Span Load-Bearing Capacity

Thanks to its U-profile geometry, LINIT® Profiled Glass offers exceptional static strength. It can span up to 7 meters without intermediate supports, minimizing the need for framing. This allows for large glass surfaces with minimal visual interruption, ideal for contemporary building designs.

The glass is available in seven standard profile types, and custom dimensions can be manufactured based on specific project needs and order volume.
